Full Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) -Day-Habilitation and In-home Supports Fargo

What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a vital role in helping children and adults reach their personal goals. Every day, you’ll make a real difference by:

  • Providing day-habilitation and in-home support services tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Assisting with daily living skills like bathing, brushing teeth, and household chores.
  • Engaging in fun activities and community events, and meeting individuals where they are.
  • Supporting coping and communication skills to foster independence.
  • Building lifelong relationships with families while creating positive change.
  • Skill Building: Teach and assist individuals with daily living tasks, including meal prep, grooming, and money management.

  • Community Integration: Facilitate community outings, such as shopping, visiting parks, or attending recreational events.

  • Goal Achievement: Implement person-centered plans to help individuals achieve personal, social, and vocational goals.

  • Safety & Advocacy: Ensure a safe, clean environment and advocate for individuals' rights and choices.

  • Documentation: Accurately record daily progress, activities, and behavioral notes in accordance with agency policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Age 16+ with a valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency.
  • Experience with individuals with disabilities or behavioral challenges is a plus!
  • Comfortable working in homes with pets.

Hours/Availability

Ability to work 7:45am-7pm Monday-Friday
